There are no extra fees from Stripe or Paythen. If your Stripe account and country support it, Apple Pay and Google Pay just work on Paythen โ€“ no setup needed!

Apple Pay is automatically switched ON and just works when you create a Paythen account and connect your Stripe account the first time. As long as Apple Pay is available in your country and your Stripe account, it will work for your customers that have it enabled and are on a supported device.

Apple Pay is visible on Safari on Apple computers, iPhones, iPads, and some new version of Chrome on iPhones and iPads too.

You can see the list of Apple Pay supported countries directly at this support article by Apple.

Your customers will still need to enter their name, email and any custom fields you've added to the plan when they use Apple Pay. This ensure you can collect additional data you need while letting your customers pay how they want. This is how Apple Pay appears on Paythen plans:

Once they click "Submit" or "Pay now" (depending on the plan), they will be asked to authenticate their payment via another Apple device or via Touch ID or Face ID on eligible devices to complete the paymentโ€“ the same as any other Apple Pay payment.
