The metrics on the dashboard are focused on plans which have a fixed amount or set end date. Since the subscription plan type continues indefinitely until cancelled, it is excluded from the overview report.
You can view detailed reports for each subscription plan in your account though via the Plans page in your Paythen admin dashboard.
